Our Dogs We started in 1982 with a very old fashioned,hardheaded, with an enormous drive and stubborn type of a chesapeake male called Cartouche van de Ronde Kolk.Already as a pup he wanted only two things,to retrieve and to be FREE........ He was born in an area where a lot of waterfowl is. His mother Balou hunted on the dangerous river the IJssel in winter. I have had a lot of adventures with this fellow,so much ......... it's incredible!! He got hurt so many times,survived a very severe car accident and still wanted to hunt like crazy. I will put a pedigree soon on this website because some Dilwyne bloodlines are in his pedigree. He died in 1993. Up till now it was the best Chessie I ever had,in hunting she is excellent. She was born in 1992 and at this moment retired. Horse&Hounds Gadwell;"Baloe" Penrose Navigator # Humlemosen's Mist One hell of a guy. He is so sweet and so 100% Chesapeake and a very good workingdog. He stayed for 8 years in our house and still my daughters are missing him. He now lives at the Huygenfamily and is very happy(both are). He is hunting so much and enjoyng his space and has his own"swimmingpool"of about 50 hectares!!! Linda Harger is more than 30 years at the top on FT's, and achieved with her dogs a lot and once and for all she is a very serious breeder! At this moment DDAY is 18 months and this bitch changed my whole live!! She really confuses me several times on what she knows and does after such a little training. It must the bloodlines,heritage etc.etc.She is too smart,too eager,too anything but on top a real BITCH and very EASY to handle,she got BRAINS!!(and I have none....hahahah) You will hear from her in the future!!! |
